Suspension
A type of sexual bondage where a tied person is hung from one or more overhead suspension points. There is a partial and full suspension. When a person’s weight is only partially held by suspension ropes, cables or chains, than it’s partial suspension. On the other hand, when a person is completely supported by suspension ropes without touching the ground, it’s full suspension. Latter requires both skills of the binder and endurance of a tied person. Main effect of suspension is to induce the sense of vulnerability and inescapability, but one must consider safety risks such as falling, nerve compression, fainting .
