Includes set of behaviors, customs and rituals that have a goal of giving control to another person (Dominant) in an erotic session or a lifestyle arrangement. Submissive person derives sexual pleasure or arousal from being dominated. Physical contact is not necessary and may vary from none to intense, which may then traverse to sadomasochism. Relationships with dominants also vary in the number of partners involved (monogamous or poly-amorous), type of scene (erotic, BDSM) etc. Consent, however, is vital for any type of scene between the submissive and dominant to begin.
